FAQ

What date should I RSVP by?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 31, 2024. This is crucial for us to confirm with our venue as they prepare to host us.

Do I have to mail in an RSVP card?

No! To save yourself a stamp, you can RSVP online on the RSVP tab. All you need to do is enter your first and last name, and you can RSVP for your invited party.

Can I bring my kids with me?

While we wish we can accommodate everyone, our wedding celebration is an adults-only event. We kindly ask that you leave your little ones at home, and thank you for your understanding.

Where is the wedding?

All of the events on our wedding day (ceremony, reception and dance) will be hosted at Stanley's Olde Maple Lane Farm. Please see the Travel and Itinerary pages for more details.

How do I get to the venue?

Please see the Travel page for information on our venue, where to stay and how to get to and from the event.

Is there parking available?

Yes! Stanley's has ample parking, and you may leave your vehicle overnight.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Our ceremony will be hosted outdoors on the Stanley's Olde Maple Lane Farm property. Should it rain, the ceremony will move into our reception space, which is covered.

Our reception will be hosted in the Southlawn Tent, which despite the name, is a stable structure with electricity, washrooms and screened-in walls.

Have you reserved blocks at a hotel nearby?

We haven't reserved hotel blocks, but have provided a few recommendations to help you decide where to stay. Please see the Travel tab for more information.

How do I get home after the party?

We have booked a shuttle bus to provide guests back to a central location in the city. You may also choose to take an Uber or taxi service. We recommend booking ahead.

BlueLine Taxi | Responsible Choice | Westway Taxi

Please see the Travel tab for more details.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

We want you to be comfortable at our wedding! The weather can often be unpredictable in June, with either summer-time heat or a cool spring breeze. Whatever you feel to be the most comfortable smart/formal attire will do!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Our ceremony starts at 3 PM sharp. Please give yourself ample time to park and find a seat. You are welcome to arrive up to an hour before it begins.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We are so excited to share Stanley's exceptional farm-to-table food with you on our wedding day. Our meal for the evening will be a homestyle buffet with a variety of entrées and sides. Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honour us with a gift, we appreciate any contribution to our honeymoon to Greece, which we are planning for our first anniversary.

A wedding card box will be at our reception, or you can find our address on the Gifts tab should you choose to send your gift in the mail.

Is there an itinerary for the day?

You betcha! Please see the Itinerary page for an outline of the events during and after the wedding.

I still have questions!
